Hound sounds the warning that the Ark is under imminent Decepticon attack!

After a slightly recap of how the Ark crashed into the Earth (we are now told that the ship's computer core 'Auntie' dictated the crash and not Optimus Prime), we see the Decepticons gathered at the top of Mount St Hillary preparing to launch a full-scale assault on the Autobot base - the Ark! Hound just manages to alert the others before the battle begins. Laserbeak and Buzzsaw breach the hull with their razor sharp beaks and promptly lay into the surprised Autobot - but a strangely out of character Optimus Prime blasts Laserbeak and militantly rally's his inept troops! The two factions fight/speak it out in consistently mundane fashion, while Windcharger shows-off his unbelievably powerful magnetic powers, and Ravage's unique ability to counter it (any guess' on the two hero's of this story!).

As with the last two issues we have only six pages of story this time, as the UK comic holds out for eagerly-awaited new material from the US. I personally would have preferred to see this take place over two issues, as it was probably scheduled to do, and fill the other two with a tale from the war on Cybertron before the Transformers came to Earth. As before the comic is more back-up strip than main attraction but presumably there are no signs of fans losing interest.
